Full Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information. Please note nothing in these Terms restricts the participant's statutory rights as a consumer and if required advice can be obtained from a Trading Standards Office or Citizens Advice Bureau for further information relating to these statutory rights. Your full donation of £1.50 (less any applicable standard card processing fees) will be made directly to the charity and they will appear as the merchant of record on your statement. Donations made to Conservation International via this campaign will fund the restoration of forests around the world.

    Eligibility

  1. This promotion is open to United Kingdom (England, Wales and Scotland and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 or over, holding a valid Mastercard card, excluding employees and their immediate families of Mastercard (the “Promoter”), its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
  2. Donation necessary, mobile device and internet access is required to claim a prize.
  3. The whole promotion will run from 10:00 BST on 04/08/2025, closes 18:00 BST on 31/08/2025, inclusive (“Promotional Period”). All donations and entries received outside this Promotional Period will be invalid.
  4. To enter the promotion, cardholders must visit the Mastercard activation in the SOOO London at 245 Regent Street, London, W1B 2EN, during the Promotional Period and donate £1.50 to Conservation International to play the claw machine for the chance to grab a ball and win a prize.
  5. Donations must be received by 18:00 BST on 31/08/2025 (“Closing Date”) to have a turn to play the Mastercard claw machine to grab a prize ball. Not all turns played on the Mastercard claw machine are guaranteed a prize ball.
  6. There are “Everyday Wins” instant prizes to be won onsite, if a cardholder successfully grabs a ball containing an “Everyday Wins” instant prize, they need to take their winning prize ball to an onsite Store Associate to receive their prize.
  7. There are “Priceless Experience” prizes to be won, which will be fulfilled through Mastercard’s agencies: The Big Group Limited and Octagon Inc.
  8. If a cardholder successfully grabs a ball containing a Priceless Experience prize (as listed in clause 13), they must scan the QR code inside their ball, which will direct them to a landing page with information on how to fulfil their prize. Winners will need to complete their online claim form within 48 HOURS of their win, confirming their name, email address, phone number and their unique prize code found inside their ball. A Big Group representative, on behalf of Mastercard UK will contact the winner to verify their details and confirm their prize. Winners will need to provide a photo of their prize-winning ticket and confirm they are 18+ United Kingdom resident with a valid Mastercard card. The winner must also supply their name and the unique code of their prize to a store associate; to confirm they’ve won their prize.
  9. Maximum of 5x donations, and therefore 5x prizes per cardholder permitted during the Promotional Period.
  10. Privacy and Data Protection: By supplying your details to accept your prize, you understand and agree that you are providing information to Mastercard. For more information about how Mastercard will process your personal information if you take part in this campaign and win a prize, Mastercard processes your personal data in relation to this campaign please see our Priceless Global Privacy Notice. You agree to share the Priceless, with any individuals whose personal information you provide to us for the purpose of prize delivery and fulfilment.
  11. Prizes and Fulfilment

  12. The Promotional Period consists of 4 (four) sub-periods, as listed below:
    • Promotional Period 1 (“PP1") – 10:00 BST on 04/08/2025 to 18:00 BST on 10/08/2025
    • Promotional Period 2 (“PP2") – 10:00 BST on 11/08/2025 to 18:00 BST on 17/08/2025
    • Promotional Period 3 (“PP3") – 10:00 BST on 18/08/2025 to 18:00 BST on 24/08/2025
    • Promotional Period 4 (“PP4") – 10:00 BST on 25/08/2025 to 18:00 BST on 31/08/2025
  13. During the Promotional Period there will be a minimum of 266 Everyday Wins prizes available to be won, as per below:
    • Minimum of 100 x co-branded SOOO/ Mastercard stickers
    • Minimum of 50 x co-branded SOOO/ Mastercard key rings
    • Minimum of 50 x co-branded SOOO/ Mastercard badges
    • Minimum of 50 x co-branded SOOO/ Mastercard bracelets
    • Minimum of 8 x co-branded SOOO/ Mastercard Yoga mats
    • Minimum of 8 x co-branded SOOO/ Mastercard Kit bags (with water bottle, note pad, drawstring bag and exercise bands)
  14. There will also be 11 (eleven) Priceless Experience prizes available, as per below:

      • 1 x 3D/2N package to Women’s Rugby World Cup Final in London, England on Saturday 27 September 2025
      • 1 x pair of tickets to The View from The Shard VIP experience
    • PP2:
      • 1 x 3D/2N package to Women’s Rugby World Cup Final in London, England on Saturday 27 September 2025

  15. Transport is not included in any of the prize packages, unless specifically mentioned. The prize(s) are as stated and nothing else is included.
  16. The winner(s) and guest(s) (if applicable) are responsible for all expenses not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions as being included as part of their prize. All other costs and expenses incurred are the winner’s and guest’s own.
  17. The prize(s) are date and event specific. Entrants should ensure that they are available during the event periods in case they are the winner. Failure to be able to attend will result in their prize being forfeit and the Promoter will add the prize back into the Mastercard claw machine. If an alternate winner cannot be awarded prior to the event date, the Promoter will dispose of the prize without liability to any winner.
  18. Prize package(s) are as stated and nothing else is included. There is no cash or other alternative for the prize in whole or in part except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize, or part of the prize, with one of equal or greater value at the choosing and discretion of the Promoter.
  19. The winner(s) will have 72 hours from first being contacted to accept their prize by following the instructions provided in the winning email notification, confirming they are 18+ UK residents, and have a valid Mastercard card. Failure to do this, or if the winner is ineligible, is unavailable to travel on the given event date or rejects their prize, will result in the prize being forfeited and the prize will be put back into the claw machine, and will be available for the subsequent sub-period as listed in clause 11 above.
  20. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Once the winner has accepted their prize by following the instructions provided in the winning email notification and the completion of any verification process, Mastercard’s agency Big Group Limited will provide further information on their prize fulfilment.
  21. The personal information of the winners and their guest (if applicable may be shared, as necessary, with Mastercard’s agencies, The Big Group Limited and Octagon Inc, as well the specific event organiser of the winner’s prize package.
  22. If fulfilment or any element of this promotion will be delayed or affected due to government restrictions and/or those outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.
  23. Failure to comply with all of the above may result in a prize being forfeited and the Promoter may at its absolute discretion award the prize to an alternative winner at Mastercard’s discretion without liability to the original winner. The decision of the Promoter is final.
  24. If any prizes are unclaimed, they will remain available in the claw machine until the end of the promotion period.
  25. Other Important Information – General

  26. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s donations will be all disqualified and any prize award will be void.
  27. Prize winners who do not give correct details or those who make a false prize acceptance on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
  28. Any prizes where the winner(s) have been disqualified or who are not eligible, will be put back into the claw machine, and will be available for the subsequent sub-period as listed in clause 11 above.
  29. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the website. The Promoter does not therefore guarantee continuous uninterrupted or secure access to website.
  30. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or invalid entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
  31. Prize packages (and associated tickets) are personal to the winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the prize packages is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel tickets and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.
  32. Any ticket holder who is not acting in adherence with venue regulations or these Terms and Conditions will be ejected from the Venue and will forfeit their right for re-entry. The Event Organiser and/or Venue management reserve the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances.
  33. Other Important Information – Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025

  34. The prize(s) are date and event specific. For the New Zealand vs Ireland match, the winners and their guests must be available in Brighton, England on Sunday 7 September 2025 at 14:45. For the Final match, the winners and their guests must be available in London, England from Friday 26 September to Sunday 28 September 2025. Failure to be able to attend will result in their prize being forfeit and the Promoter will award their prize to an alternate winner. If an alternate winner cannot be found prior to the event date, the Promoter will dispose of the prize without liability to any winner.
  35. The winner will receive their digital tickets within three days of the event to the email address provided upon prize claim.
  36. Each winner and his/her guest(s) as applicable agree to comply with the terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of tickets from time to time (as available and set out at terms_and_conditions.pdf or such other webpage as determined by World Rugby Events Designated Activity Company (“WRED”) from time to time) and all applicable WRED and tournament organiser “Tournament Organiser”) and venue owner or operator rules and regulations relating to access to Rugby World Cup venues and any other areas associated with Rugby World Cup (including any terms of accreditation determined by WRED). Further each winner and his/her guest(s) acknowledge that he/she may be required to enter into a direct acknowledgement and/or agreement with WRED and/or the Tournament Organiser concerning use of the tickets and compliance with ticket terms and conditions prior to receiving the prize.
  37. Winners and/or guests shall not, while using any Rugby World Cup tickets, display or publicize any political slogans or homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing or an abuse of the Rugby World Cup, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights (including intellectual property rights) or reflects negatively upon any of WRED or the Rugby World Cup. Each entrant agrees and acknowledges that any breach of this clause 2 shall cause significant damage and loss to WRED.
  38. By completing your details you are agreeing to receive emails from the Promoter unless you opt-out of such correspondence. Your information shall be securely stored in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Promoter shall not share your details with anyone else.
  39. The Promoter may pass personal information relating to prize winners to WRED and/or Tournament Organiser (and any of their service providers or agents) for the purposes of monitoring the distribution and use of Rugby World Cup tickets and related experiences and, in the event of a suspected breach of any terms and conditions, rules or regulations of WRED and/or Tournament Organiser relating to the use of such tickets and/or experiences, investigating and taking action against such winners.
  40. This promotion is run by the Promoter with the permission of WRED. Accordingly the Promoter is responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the promotion, not WRED or any other persons involved in the staging of Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 (including Tournament Organiser) and World Rugby (formerly the International Rugby Board), all of whom shall not be responsible for or liable to entrants in any way whatsoever in connection with this promotion.
  41. Other Important Information – The View from The Shard

  42. The View from The Shard prize package consists of the below for the winner and their guest:
    • 30min guided tour with The View from The Shard’s London Experts on level 69 (private, joined with other Mastercard cardholder booked guests)
    • VIP check-in at the Fast Track desk
    • Escort through security and private lift to level 68
    • Welcome glass of Moët & Chandon champagne or Noughty Alcohol-Free sparkling wine (no cocktails available)
    • £10 retail spend voucher for The View from The Shard’s retail store (to be used on the day of issue), one voucher per customer, to be provided once checked-in
    • Digital photos – four souvenir photos
  43. The experience must be booked a minimum of 7 days ahead of the proposed experience date, with dates subject to availability.
  44. The experience is available daily at 11:00 or 15:00 (available first come, first serve) with a maximum capacity of 10 guests per timeslot.
  45. Guests must check-in at the Fast Track desk at least 15-minutes before their booked tour time, as stated on their ticket. If a guest is late, they will forfeit the tour and will receive standard entry instead. It is not possible to delay the tour as this will impact the enjoyment of other guests.
  46. To ensure guests’ safety, guests will be required to pass through an airport style electronic body scan and will have any baggage or personal items x-rayed before entry. All guests are subject to search.
  47. Certain items cannot be taken into The View from The Shard, including large bags and rucksacks over the size of 22x15x8 inches (55x38x20cm), tripods or other large equipment.
  48. The View from The Shard may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or monitoring which may feature visitors and copyright and all other intellectual property rights in these materials rests with Shard Viewing Gallery Management Ltd or such authorised third party. This material may be used for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt-out, please inform a member of staff upon arrival.
  49. Guests may stay as long as they wish once inside, until closing time of The View from The Shard. Guests may visit https://www.theviewfromtheshard.com/plan-your-visit/opening-times/ to view the closing time on the day of their visit.
  50. If alcohol is purchased, the host (The View from The Shard) may ask for proof of ID if you look under the age of 25.
  51. To the extent permitted by law, The View from The Shard is not liable or responsible for any injury, loss or damage to persons or property arising from or caused by the weather, acts of God, war, accident, government restrictions or regulations, from an act or omission of any individual or condition beyond its control.
  52. The View from The Shard reserves the right to warn and finally remove any person that they deem unfit to continue the event including those displaying disorderly conduct or drunkenness.
  53. Other Important Information – AWFC Signed T-Shirt

  54. Winners of AWFC Signed T-Shirt will need to provide their UK postal address for the fulfilment of their prize.
  55. The AWFC Signed T-Shirt will be shipped to the postal address provided within 14 working days of the winner confirming the details.

  57. The prize will be provided as an e-gift voucher, within one week of the winner confirming acceptance of the prize and verifying all their details. There is no expiry date for the e-gift voucher.

  70. Personal information provided in connection with this campaign will be handled in accordance with the see our Priceless Global Privacy Notice. Any additional personal information collected directly by the Event Organiser(s) or the Venue(s) will be subject to their own privacy policies.
  71. The Promoter will make available the surnames and county of residence of Priceless Experience winners upon request by emailing mastercard.promotions@biggroup.co.uk, within 3 months after the Closing Date of this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting mastercard.promotions@biggroup.co.uk. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so to indicate that a valid prize award took place.   72. It is the responsibility of each winner to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and accepting their prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winner failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or prize fulfilment.
  73. Sale, transfer or exchange of any part of the prize is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to sell, transfer or exchange any part of the prize will result in the prize being withdrawn by the Promoter and the prize will be declared null and void.
  74. The Promoter will not be held responsible for the winner and/or their guest (if applicable) not taking advantage of their prize due to health or any other reason.
  75. The prize must be taken by the winner unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.
  76. Any tax liability arising from receipt of the prize will be the responsibility of the recipient.
  77. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
  78. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained not arising from any person’s negligence in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  79. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner including but not limited to asking for proof of address and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
  80. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  81. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  82. These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual issues which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by relevant local law with any disputes as to the meaning of these Terms and Conditions subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts unless you live in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
  83. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose. You acknowledge that the Promoter will pass such information to its third-party agencies, solely for the purposes of administering the promotion. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation.
